Kit Houses on Order.

Hello....Today I ordered two Kit Houses from Walthers (USA).

The Frame Cottage Kit.

The Tillman Farm House Kit.

It is a pity that our Australian Dollar does not trade well against the American Dollar - buying from the US tends to be awfully expensive as we pay double the asking price for Kits.

Well that is my news for Saturday.
Stay well my Friends.
Regards. KEV.

LAYOUT- Disrailment Problems Solved.

I spent the day sorting out the layout by glueing down parts of the track, adding short straight track to where there were 'S curves' and replacing the GP7 Diesel's coupller with one with a longer shank. All this helped and now I can run the train around the Layout completely without any derailments or uncoupling.

The GP7 Diesel hauls a short Freight train.

Well- next post will be of the entire Layout.
Stay well my Friends.

LAYOUT - Problems.

Yesterday I built my Layout Benchwork and laid the track to fill the entire shed. Tonight I decided to run a train - however the train cannot make it's way around the track without derailing. The derailing takes place in about six locations - to remedy this tomorrow I may oil the rear coupling of the GP7 Diesel and also glue down parts of the track where the derailing takes place. At present I do have a very bad backache and this does not help with the bending over the layout to fix things- hope to feel better tomorrow.

Well that is about it for tonight.
Stay well my Friends.
Regards. KEV.

Running my HO Train.

Hi...I've run my train and the GP7 Diesel runs smooth now that I have cleaned the wheels with some abrasive paper. I'm very pleased with how the train runs.
