I've painted up the first batch of 25mm figures- I couldn't sleep this morning and started painting around 4:00am - by 6 I had the eight figures all lacquered.
Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper and the dastardly Boba Fet.
All eight figures painted and matt lacquered.
Han Solo, Chewy, Princess Leah, Luke Skywalker and R2D2.
I'm very pleased with how the figures turned out- though a bit annoyed because the postage from the US is so slow- at present I'm up to three weeks waiting for the remaining figures- which contain C3PO.

Instantly recognisable figures and a good fast paint job to get them into action. If i didn’t have my old Star Wars 1970s action figures, space figures in 54mm and pound store conversions in 32ish mm I think I would be buying these. I look forward to seeing these in action to your sci fi rules amongst excellent simple scratch-built buildings from household recycling.

DeleteNice work on these Kev..hope your next batch arrive soon...international freight is always a bit slow, it has never really got back to pre covid speeds either...PLUS it's the Christmas rush period...I am half expecting my new order from Australia will not arrive till after Christmas even though it was sent a couple of days ago....

DeleteKev, I feel for you waiting for the figures to arrive having been in a similar situation. Post these days, especially international post, is not what it was and what with Christmas you could still have a long wait for your figures.
ReplyDeleteSTEVE- International postage is incredibly slow- nothing like it use to be in the 1980s- now three weeks plus seems to be the norm from the US. KEV.
