HO Model Railroad.

Hi...I've decided to model a HO scale Model Railroad with UNION PACIFIC as a theme.

My GP7 Diesel now on order.

I've long had an interest in US Model Railroading ever since obtaining the July 1978 copy of Model Railroader featuring Jim Hedigers 'Ohio Southern' Layout.

I've always liked the hi-nosed GP7 and GP9 American Diesels- the Union Pacific version will be great to display and run. I've also ordered a UP Caboose and three Boxcars as well as obtaining some NOCH figures.

    Kev,

    The US HO railway stuff always looks a bit better than some of the UK’s OO model railway locomotives and rolling stock. Unless you are buying really top end models, the latter often looks rather clunky to me, especially some of the Hornby stuff, some of which is definitely showing its age but is still being sold for high prices.
